Do i need new car speakers?

I have an 1998 Saturn sl2 and when I turn the volume about half way its max I have to put the b really low or else they will start crackling. Is there anyway to fix this or this just happens cause their worn out. I google what type of speakers my car has and its 6.5. What kind of speakers should i buy?
