Okay i have to write this newsletter over the war of 1812 and i have no clue what to do for this...?

It says that one article must discuss the changing perception the world has of the united states or how the united states is changing its way of interacting with the world and i dont get that and it has to be like a paragraph long about so any websites taht would help me on this????? thnx :)
