If you have a black polished granite fireplace hearth what is a good solution for a fireplace screen that wont

Instead of rubber that might show around the bottom of the screen, I'd glue some strips of rubber, cork or fabric to the bottom. That way you only see th screen, not the protecive cushion underneath.
