What is the meaning of the poem "The Death of Lincoln."?

The poem is an eulogy, somethng written after a person dies, reminding people of the good man he was, The first stanza says that he didn't get angry easily and was always ready to forgive, He was a man who believed in God who bore the trust of the nation. The second stanza just says how sad the nation is to stand by his coffin. You already understand the third stanza,. The last says he led a good pure life and although his death was bloody( he was inated) he died doing what he knew was right.
