When people call in to radio stations, are the calls broadcast live?

It seems the DJs or whatever are having perfectly normal conversations with the people who call in. I've never called in myself, so I couldn't tell whether I was hearing what those people were saying at the exact same time they were speaking. But if it's live, couldn't it potentially cause problems? Since the people calling in could easily use profanity at the DJ and say a lot of mean things.

I know that I've likely contracted it last night because I touched the toilet seat in a public restroom and then immediately touched my headphones which were on the coat rack in the stall. Any ideas concerning a baby's room in a 3BR home (details below)? At what age do you think we should move him?

Take the larger room, not yours and put computer and all 'junk in that room. Some how you have to make baby a room of his own. He will need his crib of course, changing table and a small chest of drawers for his clothes. The swing can go in the living room . I kept mine there until my baby grew out of it. If you have a foyer or front hall, you can keep his pram there. Take out the play pen and put up a door gate to the baby's room. I never used a play pen with my children. Took up too much room. Get rid of the fitness things and go to a gym or take up running or walking. Baby should have had his own room when he was 6 weeks old, but all parents are different. Go through your junk and see what you can live without. An attic is nice if you have one. The bouncer can stay in baby's room when not in use.

Playing DS/DSI games look horrible (because they are stretched over the larger top screen) when played on the 3DS. There is a way around it but it makes the screens TINY. You are able to play with an exact pixel per pixel setting but it makes both screens tiny when compared to any handheld, except maybe the Gameboy Micro. So, will an update help, or will they even attempt one to expand the screen at all do you think???

My husband (in a rush to get out of the store) purchased a few boxes of the RITE AID brand early detection pregnancy test. It says the test is comparable to First Response. I have taken 3 over the last 24 hours; one yesterday evening, one last night, and another this evening. Each time, I get a very thin, faint blue line. Its about the size of a single hair. At first I thought I was just seeing something, but as time ped, the test got darker and darker, now I can clearly see a dark thin blue line on all of them. Strange cough that's in my family?

Okay, it started out as my mom who had the cough. Then after a few months, I got it. Then my brother got it only a week after me. My dad hasn't gotten it though.When my mother went to the doctor, they said that she had asthma and/or a lung infection. When I went, they told me it was simply a cough and should go away in 6-8 weeks. So far (three months later) it hasn't gone away. My brother has not gone to the doctor, because it's not as bad as our cough. We are like 90% sure we have the same thing because it's all the same symptoms. Okay, my cousin from the UK is over to visit. I haven't seen him in 4 years or so, and I'm 15, so I only vaguely remember him. He is almost 14. Another day, he was running into our house, soaking wet after swimming and threw his towel at me saying, "Hang this up, will you?" I said "You can come back out after you change, and hang it up yourself." He never did. When he ran into our house, our dogs were out so he walked backwards slowly to the bathroom with his hands up, because one of my dogs was following him not barking, not jumping, not growling, just walking. I went to my room to change. I hear him yell "(my name) CAN YOU PUT AWAY THE DOGS?!?!" I come running out and he has the door open about 6 inches with my 15 lbs dog looking at him from the outside, being a good dog. I told him, "They won't kill you, they're 15 pounds!" He's with my mom. "Gee, thanks, (my name)" referring to the way I didn't pick up his towel for him. My mother told me this. My grandparents (85 years old!) have been waiting on him hand and foot for the past month, or so. He doesn't do anything to help them. I was very fed up with him. He also lectured me on how it was mean that I told him that I didn't particularly like one of the girls that went with us swimming. We started dating March 7th this year. 2 weeks into the relationship she told me she loved me while we were laying in bed together, sober and non-ually, sleeping together. Swollen fingers HELP?

Help my mum has very swollen fingers, mainly the index but all her fingers are swollen and stiff. She cannot use her hands very well and at night it is so painful that she cries out in pain. Ok so my friend told me and my other friend..i'll call her Marie a week ago that my brother's best friend walked in on her naked and saw her chest. This boy is also her brother's friend. Im only putting healthy stuff in it.. i put 2 eggs, 3 cherry tomatoes, few slices carrot, 1 sausage link, a serving of sharp cheddar shredded cheese, basil, thyme, garlic *powder*, and paprika, and some splenda(i like a little sweet twist to them!.)! I consumed Yasmin about 2 years ago,and now face hair loss problem,is it cause by the pills,or other causes??

i consumed Yasmin about 1 year ago,and now i faced serious hair loss problem.i dont know whether it is cause by the pills or not.what should i do?how can i make my hair grow back?what are the other side effects for Yasmin pill?if it is really cause by Yasmin,why it takes so long to know the side effects?some say have to consume other birth-control pill to make the hair grow back,but i dont want to consume any birth-control pills anymore,any other method?

I have a lot of trust issues. My mom left me when i was four for crack cocain and heroin. i moved in with my grandmother, she would come back about once a year for a few weeks and be with me telling me she was going to stay but every time she would leave. i would get so happy and believe her even though she left me before. i left my grandmas house at 14 to go live with my dad because i could not take living with my grandma anymore. i did not really know my dad, but i soon found out, he was doing crack cocain also, and a whole bunch of bad stuff happened to me there. i couldn't trust or depend on him either. i even slept outside underneath a church mailbox in the middle of winter so i did not have to be around him or his friends. anyway, i got with my boyfriend at the time, and we were together for about one year and seven months. he was the only person in the world i felt i could trust or depend on ever. well, after that i found out he had cheated on me. possibly multiple times and was bragging about it. i was in such shock and deep depression because i could now never trust anyone ever. anyway, now i am 22 years old and i have a few friends i talk to that i have known since kindergarden. we used to be really close at times. i hate to be alone. i have always been this way. i am now a stay at home mom, and have been for the last 5 years. i don't have a job, or go to school, and my husband is always tired when he gets home from work. i call my friends to try and talk, or hang out but they never answer their phone. even when i have a problem or get severly depressed, no one answers their phone, or calls back. but i always hear of them hanging out. the only time i talk to them is when they have abselutely nothing better to do, they want something, or when ever it is convienient for them. when ever a friend calls me, i always answer when possible or call back and am always there for them. and when i tell them i will do something, i do it. i don't tell them we will hang out and then not show up, not answer my phone, nothing like what they do to me. i feel as though they may be causing me more stress than actually helping. but the problem is i can not stand being alone. i hate it. but if i stop talking to them, i will have abselutly no one ever to talk to. i litterly go days without stepping foot outside my house or talking to an adult except my husband for a few minutes before he goes to bed. i get so mad because i am always there for everyone else, but no one is here for me. i feel like they are all fake, and i can not trust anyone ever. do you think i am just crazy, or should i just let it go, stop talking to them, or what should i do? i always jump so quickly to answer the phone even when they ignore me for so long. it is hard and i can not take this any more. but once again, i hate being alone, i hate having friends i can not trust or depend on, and it is about impossible for me to be the way they are. what should i do? or am i just crazy.

How many days would be considered "normal" for implantation spotting occur?

My period was due 3 days ago and It usually comes like clockwork. About 4 days ago I started to spot brownish in color. Not red at all and no cramps either. When should i get results back?

I have stomach pain since sunday right in the middle just bellow the rib cage of my stomach. The pain wakes me up in the middle of the night and it hurts of and on through out the day, and in between my shoulder blades hurt. I went to the doctor for it Tuesday because it hurt so bad and the doctor told me a couple things it could acid reflux, ulcer, or gallbladder. He took blood and set me up with an ultra sound for next Friday. He also gave me a prescription for ulcers and acid reflux. Wednesday the doctor called me back and told me that he was putting me on a amoxicilin because my blood test came back that i had some kind of infection and the had to do further test with blood and they would call me back. Well i have not heard from them yet and i was just wondering what the further test would be for. Anyone know?

Nikon d80 flash won't work?

We own a nikon d80 an the flash won't go off. It fell while on the tripod. It still takes, but it won't flash. It maks a click sound when I auto focus and it comes from there. Could the bulb have broke? Im always so careful with it while my family leaves it lay out. However I get blamed for being careless anytime something goes wrong. Why can I pop my eardrums at will?

I can pop my eardrums at will... I have been for a long time I'm almost 15 now.. My mom doesn't believe me because she can't do it. Now ill try to explain it.. It feels like I can just move something inside my ear and it makes my ears pop and it hear the crackling sound and everything. And If I like.. Hold the thing I move in place my ear stays popped the whole time and every sound I make is like amplified several times. My friend claims he can do it too.. Dunno how to prove it. We all love our cars!! I was surprised to find they the world champion killers. In many various way!! you know I've more on cars in my life than any other commodity! I was surprised to discover they the champion of all killers. More than all the wars or shootings, or disease! I'm 81 now and just discovering all this. If I were a young man, I would never buy a car; sure would like some of the money back that I spent on 28 different cars!! $723,000, sure would be nice to have some that for my retirement. Heck we are doing OK now; down here in Brazil. The cost of living is about 1/5 of the cost of living in the US; our Social Sec and my little retirement check is doing OK so far!!

I've been there and I know people who have as well, and it needs to be talked about, and if she is going to complains she should stop and ask if this is something she has mentioned before or not and weather it was politely mentioned. Can guinea pigs live outside all year round if they have lots of warm bedding?

Hey i was wondering because i've never had guinea pigs outside before.. when i lived in Canada i had 10 guinea pigs all kept inside but now that i've moved to England my dad said i cant have them inside ( for some unknown reason.. i only want two >:[ ). So were planning on getting an outside run that is covered on top and that is able to have a mini hutch inside. Can guinea pigs stay outside all year round or do i have to take them in during winter and when its too sunny because i know they can get sun burnt and heat stroke when its too hot and they can get pneumonia during winter and other stuff.. can i cover the run with some sort of cloth to shield them from the sun ?

Moms How do you travel with your kids?

we recently flew on jet blue and they let us check the car seat, base and stroller at the gate, for free. i chose our big travel system because of this--baby rode in car seat attached to stroller. it was very convenient except at security when you have to empty liquids out of the diaper bag, put the car seat thru the xray, fold up the stroller and put it thru the xray, take your shoes and baby's off--but i did it on my own, while fighting a flu/stomach bug! security were jerks and wouldn't let hubby stay behind to help. i would think it would also depend on what gear you need once you reach yoru destination.

I am from Appleton, Wisconsin, just about a half hour away from Green Bay, and Aaron Rodgers is my favorite player. He is a very great QB in my opinion and just because Favre is gone they automatically think Aaron Rodgers is either going to A. be better than Brett Favre. Or B. Be a bad QB for the team. So far he is doing good, we are in 9th place in the NFL standings, and our offensive line suck, and Aaron Rodgers can still throw that ball to the right receivers. If anybody here thinks Aaron Rodgers sucks, its because of the offensive line, NOT HIM, watch his college highlights I swear you will like it. The Bears and him (California Bears) led the championship in 2003 and 2004 (I believe). So yeah imagine if Aaron Rodgers had an offensive line like the Steelers or the Colts, just imagine how deadly he would be. I would cook it in a plastic wrap in the microwave(if you bought it readymade) it will create steam and keep it from drying out. If you are preparing tradionally, you can by a steambasket from the chinese food store. Add lettuce leaves and place your pao on top and then above a pan with boiling water. Steam for several minutes until done.

Now all of a sudden the landlord wants me to sign another lease between he and I and charge me another $100.00 per month. without housing knowing, he said it would be a lease between he and I. Black grout inbetween my tile discolored by cleaner?

I used an environmentally friendly cleaner(like 401) on my granite countertop and now my grout seems discolored. I read the bottle and it doesn't say that it contains any products like bleach nor does it have any warnings about discoloration. Are there any home rememdies I can do that will make the grout black again? I have already tried soap and water to no avail.
